The modern workplace needs more and more people with STEM learning as jobs are becoming more and more technical. A person with a strong STEM background is more likely to land a job than another person who does not. Also one of the main things about building a stronger STEM foundation is that it also boosts innate creativity rather than only focusing upon developing the scientific capabilities of the brain. Robotics, an important educational tool for children that helps them translate their ideas into action is important in the same way. Through building real-life models to complete some tasks, and creating a working robot specimen, everything from the technical knowledge, skills, and creative faculties of a child are boosted through the process. As robotics helps a child to think and create in a coherent and industrious manner, the inner creativity of a child is honed through the process itself. One of the other important things about robotics is that it does not lead to a single solution. There can be many interpretations and final results possible in a robotics project that encourages its participants to think differently in the process. And since the parameters are set, a lot of thinking can be done within the ambit of those parameters.

There are many a time when a child initially gets introduced to robotics, it encourages them to think differently and it also improves their understanding of basic mechanics. Building a robot is also a team process and it needs improved communication between the team members. Improvement in communication also leads to better outcomes in the future workplace as those skills are pretty relevant there as well. The process of trial and error also has the potential to bring fruitful results as it encourages different experiments. Thus, in addition to boosting the individual creativity of a child, robotics classes for kids also help them in improving their ability to gel and work as a team. There is also a pedagogical benefit to teaching a child robotics. It helps a teacher to identify the strengths and weaknesses that a child has and focus on them adequately. By working in a multi-dimensional environment, the strengths and the areas where a child shines become visible, which can be then further developed by the teacher.

In the case of robotics learning, there is also a feeling of community and companionship within the teams, which further boosts the creative process in a child. Numerous studies have shown that in various robotics programs for kids there is increased participation, attendance, improvement in grades obtained, fewer instances of behavioral problem incidents, and an overall positive attitude within the child. Thus, it is clear from the onset that inducting your child into a robotics program produces multiple benefits that help them in both the short-run and long run. In workplaces, there are very few static answers, and most of the job roles require dynamic thinking and a fluid working capability. Lots of times, one has to think outside the box to solve real-world problems and robotics helps that characteristic to develop from a young age. Thus, there is no ambiguity in the answer that robotics do indeed boost creativity within a person.
